Applicability & performance
What TYPE of lawn is the mower recommended for?
The maximum mowing area should less then the limited, all mower is able to climb a slope of up to 20 degrees (35%) and so can handle most TYPEs of gardens. It is also able to manage lawn with narrow passages which width is more than 1m.
What can I do if the grass height beyond the limited ?
If the grass is longer than limited height, We recommended you to use a conventional lawnmower first in order to reduce the grass length to within the maximum recommended level.
What can I get in the box?

What happens if it rains when mower is working?
The mower have a rain sensor. If the rain sensor gets wet, mower will return to charging station. Mower will start again 180 mins(the default rain delay time) later after drying.
how efficiently can the robot mow? Or. how long does it take until the lawn has been completely mowed?
The robotic lawnmower mows from Monday to Friday according to a pre-programmed schedule to create the specified area. It is not intended to drive over the entire lawn area in one day, but achieves a uniform lawn cut through its daily automated work.
What happens if the robotic lawnmower needs to be charged?
The robotic lawnmower automatically finds its way to the charging station. If the schedule dictates, the robotic lawnmower will automatically start again after full charging.
As the mower doesn’t have a grass box, what happens to the grass that has been cut?
The mower’s cutting blades are designed to cut the grass into small pieces (3-5 mm). These pieces fall down to the lawn’s base and gradually decompose, in doing so fertilising the lawn with nutrients.

How do I install mower?
We recommend you do it yourself as the machine is easy to set up. You can follow the steps on the Installation Guide or watch the coaching video on www.landxcape-robotics.com. If you need a chargeable installation service, please call the local helpline.
Do I need any extra tools to install mower?
Yes, you will need a hammer/rubber mallet ,a wire cutter and a tape
How to set the Boundary Wire on slopes ?
The Upper Boundary Wire should NOT be placed on slopes steeper than 20°. The Upper Boundary Wire should have a distance of at least 26cm between any obstacles. The Lower Boundary Wire should NOT be placed on slopes steeper than 10°. The Lower Boundary Wire should have a distance of at least 40cm between any obstacles when it is positioned on a slope that is less than 10°.
Do I have to bury the wire in the ground? What is the maximum depth when bury the boundary wire in the ground?
You do not have to bury the wire. The boundary wire which be installed on ground will be invisible after several days. If you still want to bury the wire, the maximum depth of the wire is 5cm.
How long should I keep between the wire and the boundary ?
26cm
Are there any problems with my neighbor also using a robot mower?
Please set the distance at least 1m between the boundary wires, otherwise it may cause interference problem.
Can mower work in a lawn with ponds?
Yes, it can. You will have to isolate your ponds when setting up the boundary wire to prevent mower access. You can set up isolation zones which your mower can not enter by following the steps in the Installation Guide.
How can I protect flowers from mowing by mower?
Your mower has the function to avoid this from happening. We strongly recommend you setting up islands which your mower can not enter by following the steps in the Installation Guide.
Operation
What is the working time of Landxcape robotic mowers?
The working time depends on the work area you programmed to mow. When you set the size of your garden, the working time will be automatically set, For the specific working time, please refer to Owner’s Manual of each model.
Does it take a lot of time to program mower?
Not at all. It only takes several minutes. For more detailed information, please refer to installation guide.
How does the mower identify the wire? How does it works?
The mower identifies the electric current transmitted through the wire and stays within the defined area.
How do I start mower?
turn on the mower,press start ,press ok, your mower will start mowing.Please note this is based on correct installation and programming. If your mower is still not working, please double check if there is any problem with the installation.
How do I stop mower?
Press the large red access button on top of the mower to stop it immediately.
Can I manage my mower through app remotely?
No.
How do I know the software version?
Press OK and power on when mower is off.
Can I update my mower?
Yes.
How can I update my mower?
You can use USB disk to update your mower (We suggest you follow the steps on www.landxcape-robotics.com.
How to Manual charge my mower?
mower can be charged manually even without the boundary wire.
1. Connect the Charging Base to a suitable power supply.
2. Manually dock the mower into the Charging Base while the mower is powered off.
3. The charging base green light will flash.
4. mower will begin to charge.
Can I use manual charge if the mower can’t even be turned on?
Yes.
Maintenance
How do I store mower?
You’d better stored both mower and the charging base in a safe and dry place, if you are not going to use it for an extended period of time. For more detailed information, please refer to “Owner’s manual”.
How to keep the blades sharp?
We recommend you check the blades every month .Every once in a while, you should simultaneously rotate and flip all blades for a perfect cut.When all of the blade-edges are worn out, you should replace them with new blades.
What is the lifetime of the blades?
It depends on many things. The most important one is the working time of your mower. In common conditions, it’s about 4 months.
How to keep the battery in a good state?
Normally no maintenance is required. For proper storage of the battery, make sure it is fully charged and kept in a cool dry place between (20°C-60°C). Never let the battery be exposed to freezing temperatures.
What is the lifetime of the battery?
It depends on many things. We guarantee the battery will last one year, and in common conditions the battery should last about 2 years.
Is there a garage for the mower?
Yes, you can find a proper retailer to buy.
Does the robotic lawnmower need regular maintenance?
Yes,the maintenance below is necessary
1. Rotate and flip the blades or replace the blades to keep them sharp if necessary.
2. Keep the mower clean. Clean the front wheel and the body,underside,the contact pins and the charger strips.
3. Keep your robotic lawnmower’s Software up to date to optimize its performance.
Security
What kind of objects might mower have difficulty detecting?
- An object with a height less than 10cm will not be detected by the mower as an obstacle, such as small branches, stones and so on. These objects may cause the failure of blades or blade disk. You should remove them out of the territory of mower.
- An object such as a trampoline with a low frame leg height, in this case you can either isolate the trampoline from the territory of mower or place larger obstacles in front of the trampoline legs and frame that mower can detect. Please contact your dealer or call the local helpline for advice.
- Something that can be pushed by mower, such as inflatable toys. You should remove them out of the territory of mower.
- Something that can be climbed on by mower. You should remove them out of the territory of mower.
What happens if the lawnmower is lifted up or turns over during operation?
The mower has sensors to detect if it turns over. Once this has been detected the cutting system will stops within 2 seconds.
What can I do if I forget my PIN code?
We strongly recommend writing your PIN code down in a safe place . This will help you to retrieve your PIN code. Please note failure to record and remember your PIN code could result in you not being able to use mower and could result in additional service charges to make mower operational. Please contact your dealer or call the local helpline for advice.
Can children or pets play in the working area when mower is mowing?
No, they can’t. We recommend children and pets are kept away from mower when it is mowing.
Is it noisy when mower is mowing?
No, it is quiet. The sound is approx. 57~68dB, about the same volume as a normal conversation.
Why is My mower louder than last year ?
This should not be the case normally. You should ensure that your mower is kept clean and the blades been sharp. Noises can occur when wheels, blades and the underside of mower are not kept clean and free from debris.
When I take out the battery, does the PIN turn back to factory setting?
No. The PIN code is held within the machine itself and not affected by the battery being removed.

You get 3 years warranty for the mower if you register the product on the Internet www.landxcape-robotics.com within 30 days of purchase.(without registration, only 2 years warranty will apply) The warranty for battery is 2 years, regardless of online registration.
